The Sacred Wild: Yoga, Ritual, and Play in Costa Rica is an immersive retreat designed to reconnect you with your untamed essence through daily yoga, embodied rituals, and joyful exploration in the lush heart of the jungle. Surrounded by Costa Rica’s vibrant natural beauty, we’ll dive into practices that awaken the senses, nourish the soul, and invite deep rest and renewal. From sunrise meditations to ocean dips, sacred ceremonies to spontaneous laughter, this journey is a celebration of ALIVENESS—a remembering that you are nature~ wild and whole.

I'm Alex Holiday — a retreat facilitator, yoga teacher, coach, and ceremonialist based in San Francisco. My work lives at the intersection of social justice and earth wisdom, where deep healing meets collective care.For over two decades, I've guided individuals and groups through transformational practices rooted in yoga, meditation, ayurveda, and nature-based ritual. I am an embodiment specialist that creates retreats and rites of passage experiences that are intentional, grounded, and deeply attuned to the cycles of the Earth.
Whether I’m working with teams, youth, or individuals, I bring a soulful, inclusive, and intuitive approach — honoring both personal growth and the wider systems we're part of.
I believe in the power of space: space to breathe, to feel, to remember, and to imagine new ways of being. Let’s create something meaningful together.

Paula Coyne has been on a pathway of integrating and sharing transformational practices all her life. Passionate about healing, growth and the embodied spiritual experience, she has trained to bring together potent methods of healing and transformation from various traditions, encompassing the needs of Spirit, Emotions, Body and HeartMind. She is a Clinical Psychologist, Reiki Master, Certified Yoga teacher, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction facilitator, and has been initiated in leading the feminine movement practice called “Qoya”. She is sanctioned to teach and to guide ceremonies based on the wisdom of Nature after over 20 years of study and practice with her Earth Wisdom teachers.

Cancelation Policy:
A $500 non-refundable deposit will secure your spot. Cancellation given 60 days or more before the event will be given a full refund, minus the deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 60 days of the retreat. In case of cancellation, you may transfer your deposit or your reservation to another person.
Unforeseen circumstances may require us to change activities; however, we will do our very best to keep the schedule as is, or replace an offering with another of similar interest and value.
